1. When did you first realize that you wanted to write steamy novels?

(Amelia)-I’ve been writing steamy short stories for over 10 years. I wrote my first novel when one of those stories took on a life of its own.

2. Was there an inspiration for writing this book? Any correlation to any past experiences? Any one particular person?

(Amelia)-Characters are always my inspiration. I just finished a story about a dark, brooding hero, so I wanted to write a fun, naughty hero. He ended up having a lot of my husband’s personality so I let him think he was my inspiration. :)

3. What age group best fits this particular book?

(Amelia)-I started reading romance novels in junior high, but the content is definitely 18+.

4. How would you best describe, Tell Me You Want Me?

(Amelia)-One reviewer called it “flirty, fun, and sizzly sexy.” It’s a lighthearted romance with a little drama and a lot of sex.

5. Do you have a favorite present-day romance author? If so, who?

(Amelia)-Kinley MacGregor. She writes Scottish historical romances. Men in kilts…yum.

6. If, "Tell Me You Want Me" became a movie, which actors do you envision in the lead male/female roles?

(Amelia)-Christian Kane inspired Austin, the male lead, but he’s too old for the part now. The female lead, Jane, would be an athletic brunette who is girl-next-door pretty. Keira Knightly? Too pretty.

7. Do you think you will write non-fiction one day and if so, what subject would you like to write about?

(Amelia)-I’m no good at writing non-fiction, but if I had to, I’d write about adopting my daughter.

8. What do you like to do when you are not writing?

(Amelia)-Watching football and action movies, listening to classic rock, and chasing my daughter around…not all at the same time.

9. Are you currently working on another book? If so, is it a romance novel?

(Amelia)-Yes I am, but it’s an erotic short story collection. The difference between romance and erotica is romance requires a happily-ever-after ending. Erotica does not.
